Robert Scott
Director Infrastructure & Engineering Services - MidCoast Council
Rob’s interest in how things worked and his natural curiosity led him to a career in engineering fairly early in life. He studied Civil Engineering at UTS Sydney in 1999, graduating with second-class honours. He also attained a Master of Environmental Engineering Management in 2004. He’s a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Rob has applied engineering leadership skills to local government for 24 years. His hands on experience covers most facets of local government engineering, especially water & sewer. He’s been involved with both regional and metropolitan councils. This experience includes 12 years at the executive level. Rob is always keen to share his experience, believing collaboration builds better outcomes. Having benefited from great mentors and supporters during his career, he is keen to give back and loves connecting with and helping others.

Sascha Kurz
Founding Director - Infrastructure Project Solutions
Sascha is a project management and engineering professional (RPEQ, Fellow, Engineers Australia) with 20 years’ experience in a diverse portfolio of national and international project management, engineering, infrastructure, building construction and project finance roles. The past ten years have been in Project Director and Senior Management roles, for feasibility, business case, and delivery phases of green and brownfield infrastructure projects in Queensland.
Sascha’s expertise includes strategic planning, stakeholder management, system and process improvement, transaction management, contract and commercial framework and delivery model development, establishment of projects and programs of work, governance and assurance as well as the suite of project management skills.
Sascha’s ability to synergise these skills has been demonstrated in the significant portfolios and projects she has delivered for clients, with meticulous attention to planning, governance/assurance, safety, cost, quality and time requirements (contributing to the delivery over $1B in projects, leading various size teams under multiple different delivery models). Her communication skills and logistical and accurate project planning and management have seen the successful delivery of multiple infrastructure projects in Queensland in the past 15 years.
